Deeply rooted in tradition, culture and customary practices, child marriage remains a widespread practice across Pakistan. Yet, it is a serious violation of girls’ human rights. In Pakistan, one in three girls is married before reaching the age of 18.

This project aims to reveal the cruelty of child marriage and its harm to children's hearts and bodies through illustration books and experimental images.
